Veteran dancer Mrinalini Sarabhai, whose husband and space scientist Vikram Sahrabhai was instrumental in setting up the institution 50 years ago, will be the chief guest at the function. Besides the opening event that will feature several cultural programmes, IIM-A will also bring out several publications throughout the year.
At the function, it will also show a documentary film showcasing some of the major milestones and achievements in its 50-year history. The institution has been planning to release a book to capture all its major accomplishments, contributions by its faculty and students. It will also release a special logo signifying its 50-year history.
