Some 167 passengers of the ill-fated train arrived a little before 6 AM at the Old Delhi railway station ending the ordeal.

60-year-old Kazil, who was injured in the accident, was examined by a medical team at the station and was referred to the AIIMS for further treatment.

A team of about 10 doctors and six paramedics was present at the station to provide treatment to the injured passengers.

"We treated about 34 passengers at the station out of which one was sent to trauma centre," the Chief Medical Officer Satish Kumar Gadi told PTI.

Gadi said majority of the cases were head injuries and leg injuries. "While pain killers were given to most of the passengers, tetanus injection was administered to 10 passengers," he said.

According to Northern Railway spokesperson, about 100 passengers deboarded the train here and the rest went to Kalka.
