Japanese Warships call at Kochi

The ships, 'JDS Hamagiri' and 'JDS Takanami', were captained by Captain Yasuki Nakahata, Commander Escort Division Four, Japan Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF).
The warships, which berthed at Kochi yesterday for replenishment, departed this evening.
The senior officer and the commanding officers of the ships today called on Rear Admiral S S Jamwal, Chief of Staff Southern Naval Command.

The two navies conducted professional exchanges including a discussion on anti-piracy operations during their brief stay at Kochi, a navy release said here.
