KCR announces filling of over a lakh jobs for the unemployed on Independence Day

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar addressing Independence Day celebrations for the fourth consecutive year at the historic Golconda Fort on Tuesday has declared that his government will soon fill up 1,12,536 posts in different government departments, which has been a major demand by the youth of the youngest state of the country.

“We are already filling up 26,660 posts for which the process is going on. Another 84,875 posts will be filled very soon. The plan is to fulfil the promise of providing government jobs to 1, 12,536 young men and women of the state,” KCR said.  He further said that the Telangana government will provide 24-hour uninterrupted power supply to the farm sector from next Kharif. He said that the government has already begun trial runs in few districts.

He said that the Telangana government stood first in the country by achieving a growth rate of 21.7%. All the 21 newly created districts of Telangana state celebrated their first ever Independence Day celebrations on Tuesday.

On the other hand, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu who unfurled the national flag in the temple city of Tirupati as a part of his decentralized celebrations policy has said that his government will concentrate on providing affordable education and health care to its people. Allaying fears of the Rayalaseema region which feels alienated because of Amaravati centric development of the residual state of AP.  He assured the people that the state will be developed as a knowledge hub.

However, a Telugu Desam MLA in Guntur created a flutter by hoisting national flag upside down at the Mandala Parishat office. Kommalapati Sridhar, the Pedakurapadu MLA immediately saw to it that the flag was hoisted again in a proper manner.
