Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday stressed on the revival of Indo-Pak reconciliation, saying it was imperative towards bringing peace in the state.
“I wonder if hostilities can become news between the two neighbours, why can’t cultural bonhomie” she said at the shrine of Baba Chamliyal near the International Border (IB) in Ramgarh sector of Samba.
Mehbooba, joined by thousands of devotees who thronged the shrine to observe the annual festival of the mystic saint, said Chamliyal could become the hub the new movement for reconciliation in the region.
