Naidu says contest will be between him and KCR

Last Updated 25 July 2019, 13:13 IST

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that the ensuing elections in the state will be between him representing the Telugu pride and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao a proxy for his puppet YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

He said this on Saturday addressing a press conference in Amaravati, specially called for disclosing vital evidence of a deep rooted conspiracy by the YSRCP against his government, in the ongoing investigation on Data theft case being probed by both the Telugu states.
In support of his argument, Naidu said that he has irrefutable proof of a conspiracy hatched by the YSRCP in collusion with the Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) and the BJP at the centre. “Like every criminal leaves some evidence at the crime scene the YSRCP leader Vijay Sai Reddy mistakenly submitted the three-page “action plan” printed on a paper that was to be followed by the Telangana government to the Election Commission on 19 February in New Delhi along with the party memorandum”.
He said that the action plan has all the steps to be followed by each player finally seeking a CBI inquiry against Naidu. Naidu further said that the Telangana police in a hurry to impress upon its masters raided the IT Grid office without even a complaint failed in any police station and confiscated all the date only to hand over it to YSRCP.
“The plan is to immobilize the TDP just in time before the elections. We have to shut down the web sites and our candidate selection process was delayed by the distraction strategy adopted by the KCR,” Naidu explained. He said that Jagan sits in his Lotus Pond residence in Hyderabad while KCR is finalizing the candidates for the elections in AP. “The fight is not with YSRCP but with the KCR the de-facto president of YSRCP,” Naidu said.
Calling the whole data theft case as a mega conspiracy by multiple actors all sitting outside of AP, Naidu quoting the High Court bench said that the blank papers with VRO signatures enclosed to the petition is “conspiracy “ written all over it. It is bigger than the backstab shown in Baahubali, he said.
The Chief Minister said that he has photographic proof of Telangana police in mufti raiding the IT Grids premises on 23 February. “Telangana SIT Chief Stephen Ravindra was on record saying that there was no complaint on that day, meaning that the police just followed another step in the action plan, Naidu argued. He further alleged that the Telangana CM has already sent Rs 1000 cr to YSRCP to be distributed among voters in AP.
