Stone-pelting was reported from Seemapuri in the national capital during a protest against the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act, in which a senior police official was injured.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Rajbir Singh suffered minor head injuries during the protest in west Delhi's Seemapuri.
He was taken to a nearby hospital. The incident took place when police was dispersing the crowd.
