Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt took to Twitter to put to rest rumours of him contesting the Lok Sabha polls.
"The rumour about me contesting for the Lok Sabha elections is not true. I stand with my country and in full support for my sister Priya Dutt. I urge everyone to come out in maximum numbers and cast their vote for our nation!" he tweeted.
Priya is a Congress candidate from Mumbai North Central and is pitted against BJP's Poonam Mahajan, daughter of late Pramod Mahajan and neice of late Gopinath Munde.
Sanjay and Priya's parents Sunil Dutt and Nargis were both lawmakers.
