Covid-19: Travellers to get free RT-PCR test at Kerala airports

Kerala government has decided to offer RT-PCR test free of cost at all the airports in the state as RT-PCR tests are made mandatory for all coming down to the state.

In order to enhance the number of RT-PCR tests, the state government is also rolling out mobile laboratories that conduct Covid-19 RT-PCR tests at Rs. 448.

Various bodies of NRIs had protested against the decision to make RTPCR test mandatory. Hence the government decided to offer the test free of cost.
