UK court orders Mallya to pay 1.5 cr more

In June, liquor tycoon was ordered to pay 1.81 cr for banks' legal costs

The UK High Court has ordered embattled liquor tycoon Vijay Mallya to pay an additional £175,000 (1.5 cr) towards the legal fees of a consortium of Indian banks. In June, Mallya was told to pay a minimum of £200,000 (Rs 1.81 crore) towards the costs incurred by 13 Indian banks in their legal battle to recover alleged dues.

The latest court order is dated Aug. 13. A copy of the order is attached below.
