Seminar on women’s empowerment

Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru, will organise ‘Shakti – 19’, a seminar on ‘Contemporary Women: Issues and Challenges’ at the Ashram auditorium on January 11, stated a press release.

Mescom Managing Director Snehal R will inaugurate the seminar at 9.30 am. Former MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik will be the special invitee. Ramakrishna Mutt, Mangaluru, President Jitakamananda will deliver the keynote address.

Bhavatarini Ashrama, Bengaluru, President Vivekamayi will speak on ‘Role of Women in National Rejuvenation’. Halli Mane Rotti Proprietor Shilpa, Vijetha Special School, Karkala, Founder-president Dr Kanthi Harish will interact with the delegates. Corporate Trainer, Bengaluru, Dr Raghothama Rao will interact with the participants on ‘Unleashing Your Potential’.

Ramakrishna Mission will observe National Youth Day 2019, to commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary at Ramakrishna Mutt on January 12, with the theme ‘Youth and Nation Building’.

There will be a special discourse by Akanksha Charitable Trust, Puttur, Founder-president Shreesha Bhat will speak on ‘Sharing Real-life Experience’. Government Women’s College, Udupi, Assistant Professor Ramya K Aithal, will interact with the delegates. Corporate Trainer from Bangaluru Prof K Raghothama Rao will interact with the participants.
