New Zealand slipped to the second spot in the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings following their eight-wicket loss to India at Raipur on January 21, allowing England to overtake them. Days after playing a nail-biting thriller in Hyderabad, New Zealand bundled out 108 runs in the second ODI of three-match series after the pace duo of Shami-Siraj dismantled Kiwi’s batting attack. Chasing 109, India eased past the target in just 20 overs by dint of Rohit Sharma’s 50-run knock and Shubman Gill’s unbeaten 40. Mohammed Shami was adjudged as the ‘man of the match’ for his 18 for 3.
