<p>India Champions have refused to play the semifinal tie of World Championship of Legends (WCL) tie against Pakistan in Edgbaston due to political tensions between the two countries.</p><p>The second edition of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) tournament, which is co-owned by Bollywood star Ajay Devgn, started on June 18 and the final is scheduled to end on August 2.</p><p>“Indian players have refused to play against Pakistan in the WCL semifinal scheduled for Thursday," sources were quoted as saying to IANS news agency. </p><p>It may be recalled that the group stage match between the archrivals had been cancelled after Indian players, including Shikhar Dhawan, refused to be a part of it, citing the Pahalgam terror attack in April.</p>.WCL cancels legends match between India and Pakistan after Indian stars boycott game.<p>World Cup winner Yuvraj Singh is the captain of the India Champions, while the squad also features the likes of Harbhajan Singh, Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, Suresh Raina, Robin Uthappa and Varun Aaron among others.</p><p>The Pakistan team has in its ranks captain Shahid Afridi, Younis Khan, Sohail Tanvir, Wahab Riaz, Kamran Akmal among a host of yesteryear players.</p><p>India had defeated Pakistan by five wickets to win the inaugural edition of the six-team legends tournament last year in Edgbaston.</p><p>EasyMyTrip, a top sponsor of the league, has already made it position clear on the Indo-Pak match.</p><p>"We applaud Team India @India_Champions for their outstanding performance in the World Championship of Legends, you've made the nation proud.
