There was no play on the first day of the Ranji Trophy Elite Group A match between Mumbai and Tamil Nadu Wednesday due to wet ground conditions.
The city was in the grip of heavy showers in the past few days and the umpires, after a few inspections of the ground, decided to abandon play for the day.
