Pakistan's target was revised to 289 in 41 overs as play resumed in their marquee rain-hit clash against India in the ICC Champions Trophy here today.

Four bowlers can bowl eight overs, one can bowl nine.

Taking place at the Edgbaston, this was the game's third interruption.

Set a revised target of 324 in 48 overs in the beginning of their innings, Pakistan were 22 for no loss in 4.5 overs when the heavens opened up yet again, with openers Azhar Ali (12) and Ahmed Shehzad (7) at the crease.

Sent into bat, India had scored 319 for three in 48 overs.

Play was stopped first when India were 46 for no loss in the 10th over and rain played spoilsport again when they were 173 for one in the 34th over.
