Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara said that 107 South African citizens who were arrested for illegally residing in Bengaluru, and involving in narcotics cases, will be extradited soon.
Speaking to reporters here on Friday, he said that all foreign nationals residing illegally in the state would be sent back. The state government had already written to the South African embassy in this regard, he added.
To a query on the mysterious death of Shiroor seer Lakshmivara Theertha Swamiji, Prameshwara said, that the police are investigating the case and the government would not interfere.
The investigation into the murder of Gauri Lankesh is in its final stage. The police would share details after the investigation is over, he added.
