<p class="title rtejustify">Union Parliamentary Affairs and Chemicals and Fertilisers Minister H N Ananth Kumar, who was abroad for treatment, is now back in Bengaluru.</p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">He is reportedly suffering from lung cancer and is said to have taken treatment at London and later in New York. He celebrated his 60th birthday at New York with his family last month. He returned to Bengaluru a few days ago.</p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">According to sources, Ananth Kumar, a six-time MP from Bengaluru South, is “taking rest” in a private hospital in the city.</p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">The sources said only his family is allowed to meet him. Not even close friends nor top BJP leaders are being allowed.</p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">“Ananth Kumarji has come to Bengaluru safely. He is fine. On long journey and doctors’ advice he needs rest and will be available after 15 days,” a statement from his office stated.</p>
