Anglo-Indians want Nigli as their MLA

The Anglo Indian Unity Centre, a body that represents the Anglo-Indian community in Karnataka, on Wednesday urged Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy to nominate former MLA Ivan Nigli as their representative in the Legislative Assembly. Ivan Nigli was nominated the Anglo-Indian MLA when the Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition government led by N Dharam Singh was in office in 2004.
