Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy conducted a pre-budget meeting with taxi drivers associations on Tuesday.

The members of the associations urged the chief minister to waive the loans of auto and taxi drivers, construct an Indira Canteen at Kempegowda International Airport and provide PF and ESI facilities for the drivers.

Tanveer Pasha, leader of a union of car owners and drivers working with aggregators, said that the chief minister promised to solve problems faced by drivers.

“After going through our demands, he said most of them will be included in the coming budget after discussion with officials.”
