CET: students unsure about 2 Chemistry questions

The verification of documents and practical examination to claim seat under Agriculturist Quota has been postponed.

The Chemistry CET paper on Thursday had two questions that the students were unsure about.

One of them was an incorrect question and another was not framed in the right way.

Prof Sandeep Kumar R, head, Chemistry department, BASE, said the paper was well balanced and had equal representation from both I and II PU. He said that two questions in the paper were ambiguous.

“Question No 9 Version-F is not in agreement with NCERT content (As per the NCERT content, the reaction between PbO2 and nitric acid is unlikely and hence none of the options match).” he added.

Chetan B R, a student of BASE, said there were very few numerical problems in the paper and it was easy. Keerthana B, a student of Deeksha, said Physics paper was not easy but not really tough either.

Dates postponed

The verification of documents and practical examination to claim seat under Agriculturist Quota has been postponed.

The eligible candidates have to attend the document verification from May 18 to May 23 and attend the Practical Examination on May 25.
