<p>The office-bearers of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), led by Kris Gopalakrishnan, on Saturday called on Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and discussed issues related to investments in the state.</p>.<p class="bodytext">According to the Chief Minister’s Office, Kumaraswamy assured Gopalakrishnan that he will appoint an officer at his office exclusively to work towards simplifying the investment process. The CII office-bearers also invited the chief minister for the upcoming India Innovation Summit scheduled to be held on July 12.</p>
