A 25-year-old housewife from Periyapatna taluk died of alleged medical negligence at K V G Hospital, Sullia, Dakshina Kannada district on Thursday.

Lakshmi, wife of one Suresh, a resident of Makanahalli Palya in the taluk, is the deceased. She leaves behind two children — Preethu, aged seven years and Gowtham, five.
