<p>Karnataka state retired vice-chancellors forum on Wednesday suggested Higher education minister G T Devegowda to consider using services of its members for the all-round development of higher education.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The suggestion came during a meeting chaired by the minister here. The forum demanded that there should be transparency in the appointments to various posts, from Syndicate members to vice-chancellors.</p>.<p class="bodytext">They urged the minister to conduct a national-level conference to address contemporary problems faced by universities and higher education.
