JSS Hospital, Head of Department-Pediatrics, Dr Narayanappa told Deccan Herald that Guru had fever when admitted to hospital. Following confirmation of H1N1 virus, the baby is being administered with Tamiflu dosage.

Three fresh cases were tested positive for A (H1N1) in Udupi, taking the total number of the confirmed cases in the district to 20. One more suspected case has been reported in the district.
