Flood relief contributions

* The members of the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board Employees Association will be donating their one day’s salary to the CM’s relief fund.
* Ananda Marg Universal Relief Team will be sending a second batch of volunteers, materials and money.

* Touch India International Ministries, a charity organisation, is providing relief materials including 1,000 saris, 1,000 blankets, to the flood victims.

* Fabricana, a exhibition systems and interior decorations company, has donated Rs 10 lakh towards flood relief along with Rs 30 lakh worth of sleeping woollen mats. The company has provided 30,000 woollen mats to the flood affected victims.

* The Billava Association, Bangalore has sent 70 quintal of rice, 100 new pairs of shirts and pants and 14 cartons of used clothing to the flood hit districts.  
* The Bangalore City Co-operative Bank Limited has contributed a total of Rs 11.2 lakh for flood relief efforts in North Karnataka. The bank has contributed Rs 10 lakh to the CM’s Relief Fund while the employees have contributed a day’s salary each, which adds up to an additional Rs 1.20 lakh.

* The teaching and non-teaching staff of the Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University too have contributed one day’s salary to the fund.
