Four killed in collision near Belgaum

 
The dead have been identified as Mahboobi Killedar (58), Prakash Bagadi (23) both of Marihal, Ravi Kolkar (25) of Pant Balekundri and Santoshi Muganavar (19) of Karadiguddi.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the accident occurred as an axle of the lorry broke away and it rammed into the tempo, police said. Eight of the nine injured have been identified and all are being treated at district hospital. Marihal police have been registered a case.
