A 28-year-old groom died of heart attack just before his wedding, in the city on Sunday much to the shock of all those who had gathered for the ceremony.
Vasanthkumar, the groom, was a native of Gauribidanur in Chikkaballapur district and was working as a lecturer at an engineering college in Bengaluru. The bride, a native of Heggere in the taluk, was a lecturer at a private engineering college in Tumakuru.
The incident occurred when the groom went to take bath around 8 am. He died on the way to hospital. Police have registered a case in this regard.
