
Heavy rain lashed Mysuru, Mandya and Chamarajanagar districts on Monday. The Meteorological Department said that rainfall in the Mysuru region, might continue for two more days.
While rains lashed Mysuru City from 3 am to 7 am; parts of the district received rain from midnight.
H D Kote and K R Nagar taluks witnessed heavy downpour in the night.
Nagamangala taluk in Mandya district, received light showers between 3 am and 5 am. Similarly, parts of Chamarajanagar district received heavy rainfall.
Flooding
Rainwater flooded the Nalleshwara temple at Hinkal, in Mysuru city. District in-charge minister G T Devegowda visited the temple and other affected areas.
