High-level meeting today

Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has convened a high-level meeting on Saturday to discuss the flood situation in Kodagu district.

After returning from New Delhi, Kumaraswamy on Friday held talks with Chief Secretary T M Vijay Bhaskar on the current rescue and relief operations underway at Kodagu.

To supplement the ongoing rescue and relief work, the government has ordered the deputy commissioners of Bengaluru Urban, Mysuru, Mandya, Ramanagara and Davangere to send five officials from each of the five districts to Kodagu.
