The JD(S)-Congress combine that is forming the government in the state is making a mockery of democracy said BJP leader and MLA Jagadish Shettar.
"The coalition government will be short-lived and will collapse soon," he said during a protest against the formation of the government held at the district party office premises on Wednesday.
Meanwhile BJP workers and leaders continued to observe a 'black day' through out the state protesting against the 'unholy' JD(S)-Congress combine which is forming the government 'without the people's mandate'.

The Gadag BJP district unit workers staged a protest against the 'unholy alliance' of JD(S)-Congress at the Gandhi Circle in the city by forming a human chain.
They observed a 'black day' by burning tires and wore black arm bands. M S Kari Gowda led the protest. They shouted slogans against the Kumaraswamy and Congress, terming the coalition as a 'mockery of democracy'.
Chikkaballapur
Chikkaballapur BJP unit also staged a protest against the formation of the government 'without people's mandate'. They wore black arm bands and observed a black day at the Balamuri circle. The protest was led by district unit president Dr G V Manajunath and other leaders.
