SBM to extend subsidy to set up potato storage godown in Cballapur taluk

He was speaking at the Krishi Mela organised by the bank, here on Friday.

Loan at interest rate of 3 pe r cent  will be extended to farmers who take loans below Rs 50,000. Subsidy at minimum of 25 pc  and maximum 50 pc will also be extended to farmers who are willing to construct potato storage godown in the rural ares in the Chikkaballapur taluk, he said.

Assistant Regional Manager G K Kamble Farmers who have not availed the benefit of Centre’s debt waiver scheme can now take the advantage, within January 31, he stated.
Farmers who promptly repaid their loans were facilitated on the occasion.
