<p>The city police took hundreds of farmers into custody for blocking the Mysuru-Bengaluru national highway at the Outer Ring Road here on Friday.</p>.<p>The farmers hit the streets and raised slogans against the state and Union government in opposition to the amendments to the Land Reforms Act and the APMC Act. </p>.<p>The police took the protestors into custody when they refused to pay heed after being told to not disturb the traffic movement by blocking the highway.</p>
