Six women rescued from brothel, seven held

City Police rescued six women from a brothel and arrested seven persons who involved in a prostitution racket in the city.

Police raided a lodge at Hebbal and took three pimps and four others into custody.

According to the police, the accused were running the brothel in a planned manner. They were taking women through cellar to maintain secrecy.

A police officer said, a tea stall in front of the lodge was the meeting point of victims and customers.
