KJP MLA to join Cong

KJP MLA from Aland B R Patil on Wednesday announced that he will soon join the Congress.
He visited the KPCC office, where he was felicitated by KPCC president G Parameshwara and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. Patil will officially join the party early next year.

Speaking on the occasion, Patil said illegal sale of liquor is rampant in the state. Steps should be taken to prevent it. The party will easily come back to power in the next elections if it announces prohibition in its election manifesto, he added.

He also criticised the BJP for not following the principles of Basavanna.
