On receiving the report, the Commissioner said that they were still awaiting viscera reports from the Forensic Science Department and the drug toxicity level from the Drug Controller.
"We should get both the reports within the next week," he said. He added that the preliminary postmortem examination did not indicate the drugs to be the cause of death.
However, only with the viscera tests could the department ascertain the cause of death.
On September 17, three people, including one woman, died due to adverse reaction of an antibiotic at the PHC in Suntikoppa and a government hospital in Kushalnagar.
