KSRTC documentary wins award

A road safety documentary produced by the state-owned Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has fetched the corporation a record 225th award at the national level.

The documentary talks about accidents involving KSRTC buses and two-wheelers, that account for 69% of all accidents in a year and educating public about the possible blindspots faced by drivers on roads has won the award.

The corporation’s other initiatives like in-house magazine ‘Sarige Sampada’ and  corporate movie ‘Sadhanegala Mailigallu’ has fetched the KSRTC the coveted Public Relations Council of India’s National Excellence Awards-2019 under three categories. The awards will be presented to KSRTC during the 13th Global Communication Conclave organised by Public Relations Council of India and World Communication Council on 15 and 16  February in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
