Kumaraswamy-led delegation to meet PM

Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy will lead a delegation to New Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and seek relief for flood-affected districts of the state including Kodagu, on Monday, September 10.

MPs H D Deve Gowda (Hassan), Shobha Karandlaje (Udupi-Chikkamagalur), Nalin Kumar Kateel (Dakshina Kannada), Pratap Simha (Mysuru-Kodagu); Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara, Revenue Minister R V Deshpande, PWD Minister H D Revanna, RDPR Minister Krishna Byre Gowda, will accompany him.

Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Mallikarjuna Kharge, Leader of the Opposition in Karnataka Legislative Assembly B S Yeddyurappa, Leader of the Opposition in Legislative Council Kota Shrinivas Poojari, will be a part of the delegation.

The meeting is scheduled for 11.15 am, on Monday, according to a release by the Chief Minister's Office (CMO).
