The seer was given a warm welcome at the house of Narayan, a resident of Vidyaranyapuram. The Narayan couple performed 'padapooja' and offered him a 'tulasi' garland.
The seer later had a brief talk with RSS Dakshin Vibhag Convener Venkatram. In an informal chat with newspersons at Madhava Krupa, RSS headquarters in the City, he said the purpose of his visit was to undertake the padayatra in the Brahmin locality. He said he was not attaching importance to the criticism on his move."There will be debate in society whenever some revolutionary changes take place. Such criticisms will be answered suitably in the coming days."
The seer will visit Krishnamurthypuram on Wednesday. He will call on Pejawar mutt seer Visveshathirtha Swami at Krishnadhama before kicking off his 'Samarasya Nadige'. He will be accorded a Poornakumbha welcome.
