Man held for brewing illicit liquor

Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested a person for allegedly brewing illicit liquor and seized liquor and related items, during a raid at Urugutti village on Thursday.

Reportedly, Raghu, the accused was preparing illicit liquor at his house, using jaggery wash and other items.

A case has been registered at the Shanivarasanthe police station.
