Vehicles with slogans to be seized: Udupi RTO

Udupi RTO officials have warned of confiscating the vehicles that display any slogan or advertisement promoting any political party for promoting business.

Using vehicles with slogans and advertisements that can influence voters has come to the notice of Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Hephsiba Rani Korlapati. It also a violation of the order of the High Court, the officers have clarified.

If anyone is found violating the rules, the vehicles will be seized without issue of any notice and legal action will be initiated, they added.
