<p>Former Prime Minister and JD(S) leader H D Deve Gowda on Tuesday took on Prime Minister Narendra Modi stating that the latter’s penchant for making “sarcastic remarks” against his political opponents lowered the dignity of the post he held.</p>.<p>He was responding to a question during an interaction organised by <em>Deccan Herald – Prajavani</em> on Modi recently terming the Mahagathbandan (grand alliance of opposition parties) as Mahamilavat (highly adulterated).<br /><br /></p>.<p>“Why should he be making such statements? It is unbecoming of a prime minister.
