Keerthy Narayanan, who arranged music for the Grammy award-winning album ‘Winds of Samsara,’ has a Belagavi connection.

Narayanan is a native of Kochi in Kerala and has settled in Belagavi after his marriage to city girl Sujatha. He is on cloud nine after the announcement of the award. “It just happened,” he said. He resides here with his family, including father Ananthan and daughter Nakshatra.
Narayanan said, “I am associated with Ricky for the past 10 years, with me arranging music for his compositions. ‘Winds of Samsara’ was prepared two years ago. My work in the album was of a multi-instrumentalist and arranger.” He said that he had been arranging music since 1997 and had been associated with Ricky since 2005. Since then, he has been arranging music for Kej’s albums and advertisements.

“I play keyboard, sitar, violin, guitar, sitar, veena and other instruments,” he added.
