Messaging systems installed at vantage points in Mysuru

In order to ensure free flow of traffic, the city police have installed three Smart Variable Message Systems (SVMS) at vantage points in the city.

The SVMS act as an information centre for the vehicle users by providing information such as live traffic updates, real-time data on journey time, distances, traffic density, alternative routes, weather condition and emergency information.

The new electronic signs are installed near Aishwarya petrol bunk signal on Mysuru-Hunsur road, near Columbia Asia Hospital circle on Mysuru-Bengaluru road and near Balarama gate of Mysuru palace.
