This New Year, no bookings at Bandipur

The Forest department has taken all measures to prevent tourists from celebrating the New Year in the forests coming under the Bandipur National Park limits. Accordingly, all requests for bookings for rooms at the guest houses and dormitories coming under the Bandipur park are being rejected.

All the resorts, hotels and farmhouses coming under the forest limits have been directed to welcome the New Year without loud music and noise.

There are many resorts and home stays in the area. With more and more people visiting these places to ring in the New Year, the department has taken stern measures this year.

CCF Ambadi Madhav said the celebrations must be low-key without noise. Legal action would be taken against those who violate the orders, he warned.
