Actor Harshika Poonacha was harassed allegedly by two persons at a resort in Neerukolli of Madikeri taluk, Kodagu district on Thursday night.
On Friday the police arrested Bansi Nanaiah who is accused of behaving indecently with her. Another accused is absconding.
The actor was in the city to take part in an engagement of her relative on Thursday night. Harshika was staying at the resort with actor Bhuvan. It is said that two persons had allegedly harassed Harshika.
When actor Bhuvan opposed their behaviour, the accused assaulted him. After availing of treatment at the district hospital Bhuvan left for Bengaluru along with Harshika. A case has been registered at the rural police station.
