Seat sharing will be smooth affair, says H K Patil

Seat sharing between coalition partners Congress and JD(S) for Lok Sabha polls in the state will be a smooth affair and whatever the differences will be addressed at the national level, senior Congress leader and Congress state unit campaign committee chairman H K Patil said here on Tuesday.

“Congress president Rahul Gandhi and JD(S) supremo Deve Gowda are capable to resolve differences in sharing of seats,” Patil told reporters here.

Patil, who met Gandhi here, said there is no confusion and no confrontation in seat sharing. Both JD(S) and Congress are working to defeat BJP, he said.

Alleging that the BJP was making futile efforts to dislodge the JD(S)-Congress government, Patil said people will teach a befitting lesson to those who engage in unethical practices. “The BJP leaders should remember the price they paid after Operation Lotus when they were in power,” he said.
