A team led by deputy commissioner of police Vinay Gaonkar, on Saturday grilled actor and TV anchor Anushree for nearly three-and-a-half hours on her role in the drugs racket in the city.
Anushree, a native of Mangaluru, responding to the notice served on her by CCB sleuths, had left Bengaluru on Friday.
As media persons were waiting for her at Bunder CCB office, she has whisked away to Panambur police station for a detailed interrogation on her role in the drugs racket in the city.
She told reporters that she came to know about choreographer Kishor Aman and his friend Tarun Raj while choreographing a dance 12 years ago. She said she visited Mangaluru with Tarun to inaugurate Western dance classes. Apart from this, she said she has told that police she had no other relationship with Tarun or drugs.
