Opposition leader S Siddaramaiah demanded a special session of legislative Assembly to discuss damage caused by floods and heavy rains in the state.
Speaking at a press meet here on Monday, he alleged that the state government miserably failed to tackle flood and heavy rains. Hence, to discuss at length the recent floods and heavy rains that caused extensive damage to agriculture and horticulture crops and infrastructure, the state government should convene a special session of legislature, he demanded.
"In terms of corruption, the state is at no. 1. While Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa is receiving bribes through cheques, his son B Y Raghavendra is accepting bribes via RTGS," he alleged.
