Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, under its VTU Research Grants Scheme for the year 2021, is giving a maximum of Rs 25 lakh per research proposal selected from teaching faculty members working in affiliated, constituent, autonomous engineering colleges and postgraduate centres of the university.
Projects under the scheme would be sanctioned on the basis of University-Institute Partnership (UIP) model.
As per the University-Institute Partnership model, the grantee institution shall contribute 25% of the total sanctioned budget.
The university has issued a notification in this regard recently and the research proposals have to be submitted on or before March 26, 2021.
