Realme 15, 15 Pro series launched in India

Smartphone maker Realme launched a new line of mid-range Realme 15 series mobiles in India.

The Realme 15 comes in two variants-- Realme 15 and 15 Pro. They feature similar design language and even most of the internal hardware, including display, battery and front camera, are the same. But, differ in terms of processor and primary camera on the back.

They sport a 6.8-inch full HD+ (2800×1280p)OLED display, support 144Hz refresh, and offer up to 6500 nits peak brightness. The screen is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 7i shield and they come with an IP68+IP69 water-and-dust-resistant rating.

They also feature dual-SIM slots (type: nano), a Type-C USB port, an infrared sensor, stereo speakers and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.

The standard Realme 15 comes with a 4nm class MediaTek Dimensity 7300+ octa-core processor with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU and a dual-camera module-- main 50MP (with 1/1.95-inch Sony IMX882 sensor, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation, f/1.8 aperture) and 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide camera with LED flash on the back.

Whereas the Realme 15 Pro is powered by a 4nm class Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 octa-core processor with Adreno 722 GPU, dual-camera module-- main 50MP (with 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX896 sensor, OIS, f/1.8) with 50MP (f/2.0) ultra-wide camera (with 1/2.88-inch) with LED flash on the back.

The two new phones feature 50MP front camera (with a 1/2.88-inch OV50D sensor, f/2.4) for selfies and video calling. Both the front and the main cameras can record up to 4K resolution videos.

They will run Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0, featuring 8GB / 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB (UFS 3.1) storage, along with a massive 7,000mAh battery and 80W fast charging capability.

A notable aspect of the new Realme 15 series is the photography tools. It boasts of Edit Genie, a voice-based editing assistant.

With just voice commands, the app can adjust background changes, do glare correction, and apply visual effects. In India, it supports more than 20 languages, including Kannada, Hindi and more.

The devices also come wth MagicGlow 2.0, which can make the human face more photogenic. It offers the option to change skin tones and even adjust portrait lighting. There is also Party Mode, which comes with a plethora of filters, lighting effects, and frames. The AI feature can intuitively detect the scene in the frame and recommend the best filters to make the photo even more visually pleasing.

Realme 15 comes in three variants-- 8GB RAM + 128GB, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage-- for Rs 25,999, Rs 27,999 and Rs 30,999, respectively.

Realme 15 Pro comes in four variants-- 8GB RAM + 128GB, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage-- for Rs 31,999, Rs 33,999, Rs 35,999, and Rs 38,999, respectively.

The company also launched Buds T200. They come equipped with 12.4mm dynamic bass drivers to deliver rich sound and support a wide 20Hz–40KHz frequency range, and are certified for Hi-Res Audio and support the LDAC codec. They also feature up to 32dB Active Noise Cancellation with dual-mic noise reduction, a 45ms ultra-low latency Game Mode, and Bluetooth 5.4 for a stable, responsive connection.

Realme Buds T200.

The new Buds T200 offer up to 50 hours of total playback in normal mode and 35 hours with ANC enabled, while a quick 10-minute charge provides up to 5 hours of listening time. It also comes with IP55 water and dust resistance. It costs Rs 1,999.
